This bayfront property did not previously have a dock, and the homeowners wanted to create direct access to the water for jet skis and future boating use. Because the property faced Sarasota Bay with shallow water conditions, the project required a long custom walkout dock to reach adequate depth while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

Solutions

Bay & Key completed the seawall and designed a long-span Trex dock system with fiberglass pilings, a beamless boat lift, and integrated pathway lighting for durability and low maintenance. The homeowners selected a custom color palette and black piling caps to complement the home’s modern design aesthetic. The completed dock successfully withstood multiple hurricanes after installation.
